Bison Ranch Rožnov

Rožnov lies in the very heart of the Česká Kanada Nature Park and belongs to the municipality of Český Rudolec. Cycle route no. 1117 and the blue hiking trail run directly through Rožnov; heading south you reach Landštejn and further to the preserved nature of the former Czechoslovak military area all the way to the village of Kaproun – the place where the fictional genius Jára Cimrman was supposedly thrown off a train. In addition to nature, you can also admire a statue and a memorial plaque dedicated to this legendary all-rounder and inventor. The most famous trail is the Grasel Trail. Rožnov is dominated by an ancient farmstead that is currently undergoing extensive reconstruction. Since July 2012 we have been pleased to welcome you to the Bison Ranch Guesthouse. During 2012, two ponds were completed where swimming is possible. In June 2013, a newly renovated restaurant was opened where you can taste our specialties. At the beginning of 2015 we opened the accommodation section of the wellness facility. The main attraction today is the bison breeding and our food offer, including bison steaks.
