Bison Ranch Rožnov

Rožnov lies in the very heart of the Česká Kanada Natural Park and falls under the municipality of Český Rudolec. Cycle route number 1117 passes directly through Rožnov, as well as the blue hiking trail, which leads southward to Landštejn and further to the Czech war territory with preserved nature, all the way to the village of Kaproun, the place where Jára Cimrman was thrown out of a train. Besides nature, you can also admire a statue and memorial plaque of the fictional polymath and inventor here. The most famous trail is the Grasel trail. An ancient farm dominates Rožnov, which is currently undergoing extensive reconstruction. Since July 2012, we are happy to welcome you at the Bison Ranch Pension. During 2012, two swimming ponds were completed where you can swim. In June 2013, a newly reconstructed restaurant was opened, where you can taste our specialties. At the beginning of 2015, we opened the accommodation section for you. The main attraction at present is the bison breeding and food service, including bison steaks.
